Then a new guy comes who is a replacement for the old one. Then we get Selena Gomez song the heart wants what it wants, here it shows us at first shows us Selena having a conversation and she is crying. Then the song starts and basically she is talking about her ex Lover Justin Bieber, how he constantly hurts her but she cant let him go even though she has a lot of reasons to, the couple started dating in 2010 and ended it officially in 2012 when Justin cheated on Selena Gomez. Yet they have been getting back together too and fro, but Justin always hurts Selena and then he either apologizes to her or posts a picture on Instagram with a sweet message then he deletes It and she always then forgives him. In her song she tells people to save their advice because she knows she has heard it many times but she cant help herself. When we compare the two Songs you can see that they are very different to each other because here Taylor is telling us that she does not care about guys because they is another one who can fill in and she is showing us a strong stance and a different view point on how to view a guy. In Selena's song it shows us no matter what you can fool your heart, if the heart wants what it wants it has to get it. Some say even if the heart wants what it wants it doesn't mean it should get it all the time, because your heart could be your downfall if not used wisely enough. In Taylor's song she is sort of mocking the boys she dated and not crying over them. Yet Selena is more vulnerable and is constantly stuck in the same place.
